Consultancy

Sometimes an expert view is needed.

This is not dismissing the technicians on site, as they generally have a good, broad spectrum of knowledge, but instead, is providing a very detailed view into a very specific field of expertise.

When an independent assessment or report in needed, it should ideally come from someone without a vested interest in any aspect of the project.

The survey and report should be unbiased and based upon the evidence as presented at the time and not from other parties perception of the problem.

Arbitration

From time-to-time a dispute occures.

Sometimes this is between a drying contractor and a builder, sometimes between the policy holder and the builder or drying contractor., and sometime between the policyholder and the loss adjuster / insurance company.

It doesn't really matter who's disputing what with whome, the outcome is generally the same and a 'stalemate' situation occures.

At that point an Arbitrator (or middle man) is needed.

Someone who can pick through the peices of who said or did what, and identify a mutually beneficial solution.

In these instances, Flood Consultancy can undertake an independent survey and write an unbiased report as Flood Consultancy is not a drying contractor, or a builder, or a damp proofer or such, and has no conflict of interests
